The makers of upcoming film Pottel released their new song titled ‘Shankara’ on the occasion of Maha Shivratri. Pottel, which stars Yuva Chandra Krishna as the male lead, is an action-drama.

‘I’ is a devotional song composed by Shekar Chandra, and sung by Sandilya Pisapati. Kasarla Shyam penned the lyrics. Shekar was also the composer for the recently released social drama Ambajipeta Marriage Band.

The ‘Shankara’ video captures the protagonist’s journey as he surrenders himself in devotion of Lord Shiva, along with many others in his village, in order to find his Pottel (domesticated goat) which has gone missing.

A few weeks ago, another single from Pottel titled ‘Vavvare’ was released by the makers. Pottel stars Ananya Nagalla as the female lead opposite Chandra Krishna. The film’s supporting cast includes actors like Ajay, Noel and Priyanka Sharma.

Pottel is produced by Nishank Reddy Kudithi of NISA Entertainments and Suresh Kumar Sadige of Pragnya Sannidhi Creations. Saahith Mothkuri, who made his directorial debut with the 2020 film Savaari, is the writer and director for Pottel. The cinematography is handled by Monish Bhupathi Raju. Karthika Srinivas is the editor and Narni Srinivas is the art director.
