The makers of Peka Medalu have announced the release date for their film. The upcoming comedy features Vinoth Kishan and Anoosha Krishna in lead roles.

Rakesh Varre is the film’s producer, bankrolling the film under the banner Crazy Ants Productions. The banner, while announcing the release date on their official X page, said, “The craziest entertainer ever is coming your way! Buckle up, It's gonna be a fun-filled wild ride ahead! Peka Medalu Releasing Worldwide on July 19th at theatres near you!” On the occasion, the makers also shared a new poster of their film. The poster is a quirky take on the evolution of man, showing the film’s protagonist, Vinoth Kishan, gradually reaching a human stage after multiple levels of being a chameleon. 

Peka Medalu is written and directed by Neelagiri Mamilla. Smaran Sai is ther music director. The cinematography is by Haricharan K, and editing is jointly helmed by Srujana Adusumilli and Hamza Ali. Hamza has also co-written the screenplay in collaboration with director Neelagiri and film’s co-director Sreenivas Ittam.

Peka Medalu has been a long time in the making. The first teaser of the film was launched nearly a year ago, in July 2023.
