Satyabhama, the Kajal Aggarwal-starrer which recently had a theatrical release on June 7, is now available for streaming. The mystery thriller premiered on the streaming platform Prime Video on Friday.

Also starring Prakash Raj and Naveen Chandra, Satyabhama tells the story of a police officer (Kajal Aggarwal) who decides to investigate the missing  case of a young boy which compels her to revisit her own emotional baggage from past which continues to haunt her present. In our review for the film, we had noted, “It’s a complex mystery-thriller, and a drama that offers many quintessential mass moments like any commercial Telugu film would do. At the same time, writer Sashi Kiran Tikka and director Suman Chikkala manage to make space for dealing with themes like trauma, processing grief, and the idea of moving on.”

Satyabhama is directed by Suman Chikkala. Sashi Kiran Tikka has written the screenplay, while the story is by Ramesh Yadma, Prashanth Reddy Motadoo. Vishnu Besi is the cinematographer for the action-drama, and Kodati Pavan Kalyan is the editor. Sricharan Pakala has composed music for the film. Satyabhama is produced by Bobby Tikka and Srinivas Rao Takkalapelly under the banner of Auram Arts.
