The makers of Buddy released their film’s official trailer on Tuesday at a grand ceremony. The upcoming action-thriller stars Allu Sirish and Gayatri Bharadwaj in the lead roles.

By the looks of its trailer, the plot of Buddy revolves around a commercial pilot, Aditya Ram (Allu Sirish), who lands in trouble with a dangerous mafia honcho (Ajmal Amir). However, the highlight of the film is Aditya’s Teddy Bear friend, who helps him out in his mission against eliminating his enemies and facing evil upfront. 

Buddy is directed by Sam Anton and produced by KE Gnanavelraja and Aadhana Gnanavelraja under the Studio Green Films banner. The film’s ensemble cast includes actors like Prisha Rajesh Singh, Ali, and Mukesh Kumar, among others.

Buddy is written by Sai Hemanth. Hiphop Tamizha is the music director for the film. Ruben is the editor, and Krishnan Vasant is the cinematographer. The action sequences have been choreographed by Sakthi Saravanan. 

On this occasion, the makers also announced the release date for their film; Buddy is set to hit theatres on July 26.
