Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Kalki 2898 AD unveiled the promo for the single ‘Theme of Kalki’ on Monday. The upcoming sci-fi spectacle starring Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone is all set to hit theatres on June 27.

The ‘Theme of Kalki’ promo features veteran actress Shobana, who plays the role of Mariam in the film, performing a classical dance act on the banks of the River Yamuna in Mathura, along with several other dancers. The makers also updated that the full song will be released soon. Santosh Narayanan is the music composer for Kalki 2898 AD, while Krishnakanth has penned the lyrics. 

The makers launched a release trailer for their film on Friday evening, which has garnered over 44 million YouTube views, collectively for all the language versions. Kalki 2898 AD is written and directed by Mahanati filmmaker Nag Ashwin, and produced by C Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyajayanthi Movies.
