Varun Sandesh, who is gearing for the release of his film Nindha, which hits theatres on Friday, will next be seen playing a police officer in a film titled The Constable. The makers of the film completed their shoot on Wednesday.

Talking about his role in The Constable, Varun stated, “The audience will see me in a new angle with thrilling elements in this film. The shooting went very smoothly.” The film is produced by Balagam Jagadish under the banner of Jagruti Movie Makers. Aryan Subhan SK helms the direction, besides penning the story and screenplay for the film.

The Constable will also mark the debut for its female lead, Madhulika Varanasi. The film’s ensemble cast includes names like Duvwasi Mohan, Surya, Ravi Varma, Muralidhar Goud, Balagam Jagadish, Prabhavathi, Kalpalatha, and Nitya Sri. Subhash Anand is the music director for the film. Vara Prasad is the editor. Gyani will be composing the background score.

Billed as a suspense-crime thriller, The Constable is slated to release later this year, although the makers have not confirmed a release date yet.
