The makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s next film, tentatively titled NBK 109, released a special glimpse on Monday, on the occasion of the actor’s birthday. NBK 109 is being produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Sounjya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

Sithara Entertainments shared the glimpse video on their X page, adding the caption, “The Monster has arrived.” The video features Makarand Deshpande as a narrator, telling the story about how requires a demon to destroy all evil forces—someone with no pity, mercy or empathy. The video then gradually reveals Balakrishna in a heroic avatar, accompanied by a rousing background score (composed by Thaman S).

Earlier in March, the makers released the first glimpse of their film. Besides Balakrishna, NBK 109 stars Bobby Deol, Payal Rajpur, Ravi Kishen, and Prakash Raj. Dulquer Salmaan, who was slated to be a part of the cast, has reportedly walked out of the project.

Vijay Kartik Kannan is the cinematographer for the film. Anivash Kolla is the production designer. The editing is by Niranjan Devaramane. Bobby Koli, who has earlier made films like Power (2014), Venky Mama (2019), and Waltair Veerayya (2023), is the director for the film.

Balakrishna was last seen on-screen in Bhagavanth Kesari (2023), where he shared screen with Sreeleela and Kajal Aggarwal.
