Navdeep is making a comeback as a lead with the film Love Mouli, which is slated to hit theatres on June 7. Ahead of the film’s release, director Avaneendra spoke about the themes explored in Love Mouli while also discussing the film’s audience base.

Talking to the media, Avaneendra stated that he had originally penned Love Mouli in a novel-like format, adding, “I didn't know which lead actors I could imagine doing this role. This is such a story.” The director added, “The very name 'Mouli' has a serene connotation associated with Lord Shiva. One has to watch the film to understand the context of the title. Such a story won't need any modifications even 20 years later.”

While talking about how the makers chose to go for an A certificate, instead of making the many cuts required for a U/A certificate, Avaneendra said, “There is something for everyone in this film. I am sure that the female audience will connect with the film more than men.”

Jointly produced by Nyra Creations, Cspace, and Srikara Studios, Love Mouli will clash at the box office against other films like Manamey and Satyabhama.
