The official teaser of the Ravi Teja starrer Mr Bachchan was released on Sunday. The upcoming action drama, directed by Harish Shankar S, is slated for a theatrical release on August 15.

By the looks of it, Mr Bachchan revolves around an honest and dapper IRS officer who ends up creating rivals in some highly influential people because of his righteousness. The film’s teaser also gives a brief glimpse into the protagonist’s love story, where Bhagyashree Borse plays the love interest figure. Mr Bachchan is an official remake of the 2018 Hindi film Raid, which starred Ajay Devgn in the lead role. 

Mr Bachchan marks Ravi Teja’s third collaboration with Harish Shankar after Shock (2006) and Mirpakay (2011). The film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar and Satya in in the ensemble cast. Mickey J Meyer is the music director for the film. Ayananka Bose helms the film’s cinematography. Ujwal Kulkarni is the editor, while the production design is by Brahma Kadali.

Ravi Teja was last seen in the action film Eagle, which released earlier this year in February.
