The Raj Tarun starrer action-drama Purushothamudu is slated for theatrical release on July 26. Eminent production company Mythri Movie Makers will distribute the upcoming film across the Nizam region, the makers confirmed on Monday.

Purushothamudu is produced by Ramesh Tejawat and Prakash Tejawat under the banner Shree Sridevi Productions. The production banner shared the said update on their X page.  Written and directed by Ram Bhimana, Purushothamudu revolves around a mild-mannered young man who arrives in a small village, and gradually becomes their saviour at a time of crisis.

Purushothamudu marks the debut of its female lead Hasini. The film additionally boasts of a massive ensemble cast that includes names like Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishnan, Murali Sharma, Mukesh Khanna, Raja Ravindra, Brahmaji, and Brahmanandam, among others. The cinematography is by PG Vinda and editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh. Gopi Sundar is the music director.

Besides Purushothamudu, Raj Tarun will be seen in the upcoming action-drama Tiragabadara Saami.
