The makers of Purushothamudu released their new single, ‘Bhallantu,’ on Wednesday. Popular Bollywood singer Kailash Kher is the playback singer for the composition.

Composed by Gopi Sundar, ‘Bhallantu’ captures the onset of optimism and strength in the lives of villagers after the arrival of the film's protagonist (Raj Tarun), an outsider who becomes their saviour. Balaji has penned the lyrics. 

Written and directed by Ram Bhimana, Purushothamudu stars Raj Tarun in the lead role and marks the debut of female lead Hasini. The official teaser for the film was released in May this year. The film is being produced by Ramesh Tejawat and Prakash Tejawat under the banner Shree Sridevi Productions.

The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Brahmaji, and Murali Sharma, among others. The cinematography is by PG Vinda, and the editing is by Marthand K Venkatesh. 

A few days ago, the makers of Purushothamudu also confirmed the release date for their film. The Raj Tarun-starrer will hit theatres on July 26.

Besides Purushothamudu, Raj Tarun will also soon be seen in the upcoming action-drama Tiragabadara Saami.
