Filmmaker Anil Viswanath, who rose to fame with Maa Oori Polimera and its sequel, is now coming up with the third part of the horror-thriller franchise. The film, tentatively titled Polimera 3, was officially announced on Wednesday.

Polimera 3 is being jointly produced by Bhogendra Gupta and distributor-turned-producer Vamsi Nandipati. The horror thriller stars Satyam Rajesh, Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Baladitya, Get Up Srinu, and Rakendu Mouli V among others. Kushendar Ramesh and Gyaani will be handling cinematography and music direction respectively.

Producer Vamsi Nandipati also shared on his X page that the scripting for Polimera 3 is complete, and that the team is planning to begin production soon.

The first two parts of the franchise, Maa Oori Polimera and Maa Oori Polimera 2 were released in 2021 and 2023 respectively.

Satyam Rajesh was last seen in the crime comedy Gam Gam Ganesha, which released in May this year.
