The makers of the Narne Nithiin-Nayan Sarika starrer Aay released their new single ‘Aamma Lalo Ram Bhajana’ on Sunday. Aay is a coming-of-age film, slated to hit theatres on August 15.

‘Aamma Lalo Ram Bhajana,’ composed by Ajay Arasada, is a devotional number that encapsulates a chapter from Ramayana when Lord Ram was compelled to go on an exile. While the spiritual lyrics are penned by Anji K Maniputhra, Penchal Das has served as the playback singer for the intense composition. Ram Miriyala has also composed a few songs for the film. 

Aay, which marks the directorial debut for Anji Kanchipalli, is the ninth production for the GA2 Pictures banner. The production house has earlier made films like Bhale Bhale Magadivoy (2015), Geetha Govindam (2018), Taxiwala (2018), and Most Eligible Bachelor (2021). Bunny Vas and Vidya Koppineedi are bankrolling the project, while Allu Aravind is presenting the film.

The film’s supporting cast includes Ankith Koyya and Rajkumar Kasireddy. Art direction is by Kiran Kumar Manne, while cinematography is by Sameer Kalyani.
