Rakshit Atluri, who rose to popularity with the 2020 film Palasa 1978, will be seen headlining the upcoming bilingual film Operation Raavan. The makers of the film announced the release date for their film on Wednesday: Operation Raavan will hit theatres on August 2.

The film is produced by Dhyan Atluri. Billed as a new-age suspense thriller, the film also stars Radikaa Sarathkumar and Sangeerthana Vipin in prominent roles. The makers also released a new set of posters while announcing the release date. These posters carry the tagline ‘A Pyshco story.’

Debutant filmmaker Venkata Satya has both written and directed the film. Lakshmi Lohit Pujari, meanwhile, has been credited as the dialogue writer. Actors like Charan Raj, Vidya Sagar, Rocket Raghava, Raghu Kunche, KA Paul Ramu, and Karthik, among others, comprise the supporting cast of the film. Saravana Vasudevan is the music composer for Operation Raavan. 

On the technical front, Satya Giddthuri helms the editing. The cinematography is by Nani Chamidishetty, and art direction by Nani T.
