The makers of the Varun Sandesh starrer Viraaji launched the first look of their film on Tuesday, also officially announcing their film's title and release date. The event was attended by the primary cast and crew of the film. Viraaji is slated for a theatrical release on August 2. 

Viraaji, produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla under the M3 Media banner in association with Maha Movies, marks the directorial debut for Adhyanth Harsha. Talking about the director at the event, Varun Sandesh stated, “When he narrated the story to me, I could predict a few plot points listening to the first part,  within ten minutes, but the second half had me experiencing goosebumps. This may be Harsha's first film as a director, but he has a bright future ahead.”

Talking about his character, Varun described the role as his ‘craziest one yet,’ also informing that the character poster will be unveiled on July 10.

The film’s supporting cast comprises Raghu Karumanchi, Pramodini, Balagam Jayaram, Viva Raghava, Ravi Teja Nannimaala, Phani Acharya, Kushalini Pulapa, and Prasad Behara, among others. The cinematography for Viraaji is helmed by GV Ajay Kumar, with editing by Ram Tumu. Ebenezer Paul, meanwhile, is the music director for the project.
