Raahi Re,’ the second single from the upcoming comedy Darling, was released on Tuesday. Darling, directed by Aswin Raam, stars Priyadarshi and Nabha Natesh in leading roles.

Vivek Sagar is the music director for the film. Written by Kasarla Shyam, ‘Raahi Re’ is a breezy and uplifting travel song, and the song video features Nabha Natesh’s character travelling across the country and exploring the many forms of natural beauty on her journey.  ‘Raahi Re’ becomes more interesting with its use of an evocative Punjabi interlude that adds a lot of soul to the song. The poetry and vocals for these portions are by Romi Kumar.

Darling is produced by K Niranjan Reddy under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment, which had earlier produced this year the surprise blockbuster HanuMan. Besides Priyadarshi and Nabha, the film also stars Ananya Nagalla in a significant role. The film’s supporting cast also includes names like Brahmanandam, Vishnu, and Krishna Tej. The cinematography is by Naresh Ramadurai, and the editing is by Pradeep E Ragav.

The film is slated for a theatrical release on July 19.
