Market Mahalakshmi, the new-age romantic comedy that had a theatrical release in April this year, is now gearing up for its OTT premiere. The film, featuring Parvateesam as the male lead, will begin streaming on Aha from July 4 onward.

Produced by Akhilesh Kalaru under the banner of B2P Studios, Market Mahalakshmi marks the debut of writer-director VS Mukkhesh. It also marks the feature film debut for its female lead, Praneekaanvikaa, who plays a streetwise and independent woman working as a vegetable vendor in the film. It revolves around her and a young, upper middle-class boy (Parvateesam), who is smitten by her freespiritedness and decides to get rid of all social barriers in order to woo and marry her, even setting up a vegetable shop where Mahalakshmi conducts her business. 

The film also boasts a massive ensemble cast, including actors like Harsha Vardhan, Mahaboob Basha, Mukku Avinash, Kedar Shankar, Meesam Suresh, and Padma Nimmanagoti, among others. Joe Emnav has composed the music for the film, with cinematography is by Surendra Chilumula.
