The makers of Gopichand's Bhimaa announced, on Monday, that the film will hit theatres on March 8, instead of the earlier announced February 16 release date. The film, which marks Gopichand's 31st, is helmed by Kannada director A Harsha. 

The makers also released a poster featuring Gopichand in a cop avatar. Bhimaa stars Priya Bhavani Shankar and Malavika Sharma as the female leads. Both female leads will be essaying roles of equal importance in the film, as per the makers. 

KK Radhamohan is bankrolling Bhimaa under the Sri Satya Sai Arts banner. Ravi Basrur, who recently composed music for Salaar, has scored music for Bhimaa as well. With cinematography by Swamy J Gowda, the film has editing by Kiran and production design by Ramana Vanka.

Ajju Mahankali has penned the dialogues of the film, with action choreography by Ram-Lakshman, Venkat and Dr Ravi Varma.
