The official trailer of Happy Ending, a romantic comedy with sexually explicit themes, has been unveiled. The film's release date was also announced with the trailer. Happy Ending is scheduled to hit theatres on February 2. Happy Ending stars Yash Puri and Apoorva Rao in the lead roles. Yash Puri has previously acted in Alanti Sitralu and Cheppalani Undi. He was recently seen in the Samantha starrer Shaakuntalam. MAD and Keedaa Cola fame actor Vishnu Oi features in a supporting role in the film. Happy Ending also stars Ajay Ghosh, Jhansi, Anita Chaudhary, Harsh Roshan, Jiya Sharma, Vamsi Nekkanti, KMM Mani, Kamal Tumu and Shweta, among others.

Happy Ending is written and directed by Kaushik Bhimidi. The trailer introduces us to the protagonist as a sexually awkward adolescent and a young boy in love. Apoorva Rao plays his love interest. Vishnu Oi's character hints at a curse with some potentially fatal consequences occuring as a result of the protagonist pleasuring himself. The title Happy Ending is a double entendre. Major details of the story have been kept under wraps, and hence not included in the trailer. Happy Ending is produced by Hamstech Films. We also see glimpses of the film being set in the Hamstech design college.
