The makers of the upcoming film Yatra 2, starring Mammootty and Jiiva in the lead roles, have released a video song titled 'Choodu Nanna' from the film. The song is sung by Vijaynarain with lyrics by Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar. Yatra 2 is the sequel to the 2018 film Yatra. It was based on the life of the late YS Rajashekar Reddy. Mammootty essayed the role of YSR in the film.
Yatra 2, the sequel, will tell the story of the incumbent Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, essayed by actor Jiiva. The teaser shows the unfathomable support Jagan Mohan Reddy receives after the untimely and unfortunate demise of his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. However, he is naturally posed with challenges and threats from other political parties. How he faces the situation and becomes the Chief Minister seems to be the story of Yatra 2.
Directed by Mahi V Raghav, Yatra 2 is produced by Shiva Meka under the banner V Celluloid and Three Autumn Leaves. Ketaki Narayan, Suzanne Bernert, and Mahesh Manjrekar form the supporting cast of the film.
The technical crew of the film comprises Santhosh Narayanan (music), R Madhie (cinematographer), Shravan Katikanen (editor) and Selva Kumar (Production design)
The film will hit the theatres on February 8.
