We had earlier reported that actor Ashok Galla, who made his debut in 2021 with the Sriram Adittya film Hero will be working next in a film directed by Guna 369-fame director Arjun Jandhyala. The makers of the film have announced the film's title on Wednesday. Titled Devaki Nandana Vasudeva, a brief teaser was also attached with the title announcement. To the uninitiated, Ashok Galla is Mahesh Babu's nephew and the late yesteryear actor Krishna's grandson. Debutant Manasa Varanasi has been roped into play the film's female lead.

Prashanth Varma, whose film Hanu Man is up for release on January 12, has written the film's story while veteran dialogue writer Sai Madhav Burra has penned the film's dialogues. The film is produced by Somineni Balakrishna under the Lalithambika Productions banner. It is their maiden film.

The teaser starts with a voiceover proclaiming his ability to finish his enemies, as he is seen beating men to a pulp in a mud fight. The mood of the teaser shifts to a calmer tone, as we are introduced to his love interest, played by Manasi Varanasi. The protagonist is also described as someone who was born with a specific purpose. The teaser is filled with references to the deity Krishna. Unlike his debut film which featured him in a suave, urban look, his sophomore outing at the movies will see him sporting a moustache and a beard.

Devaki Nandana Vasudeva is presented by Nallapaneni Yamini. Bheems Ceciroleo is the music composer of the film, with cinematography by Prasad Murella and editing by Tammiraju. The makers of the film will be announcing the film's release date soon.
