The makers of the Ananya Nagalla-starrer Tantra released the film's official trailer on Wednesday. The film, directed by Srinivas Gopisetti, is a horror thriller set against a rural backdrop.

The teaser establishes the film's premise, where the female protagonist Rekha (played by Ananya Nagalla) becomes a victim of occult worship after her lover (Dhanush Raghumudri) in a desperate bid to win her affection, ends up asking an occultist to cast a magic spell on her.

Apart from Ananya and Dhanush, the film’s primary cast includes Saloni, Temper Vamsi, Meesala Laxman, and Kushalini. RR Dhruvan, who is also composing music for the upcoming rom-com Roti Kapda Romance, is the music director for the horror thriller. Sairam Uday and Vijay Bhaskar Saddala are the cinematographers, while SB Uddhav is the editor.

A few days ago, the Tantra team released a new poster declaring their ‘A’ rating and requesting their audience ‘not to bring children.’

Jointly produced by Naresh Babu P and Ravi Chaitanya under the banners of First Copy Movies, By The Way Films, and Vizag Film Factory, Tantra is scheduled to hit theatres on March 15.
