Ananya Nagalla-starrer Tantra gets release date

The film is a horror-thriller set against a rural backdrop, dealing with the themes of occult worship

The upcoming horror-thriller Tantra has received an A rating from the censor board authorities. The makers of Tantra shared the said update while announcing their release date in a unique style on Friday. Taking to their social media page, the Tantra team released a new poster declaring their ‘A’ rating and requesting their audience not to bring children. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on March 15.

Helmed by Srinivas Gopisetti, the horror thriller film is set against the backdrop of a small village. The film stars Ananya Nagalla as the protagonist. She plays a young village girl who becomes a victim of occult worship.

Apart from Ananya, the film’s primary cast comprises Dhanush Raghumudri, Saloni, Temper Vamsi, Meesala Laxman, and Kushalini. Tantra is produced by Naresh Babu P and Ravi Chaitanya under the production banners of First Copy Movies, By The Way Films and Vizag Film Factory.

Sairam Uday and Vijay Bhaskar Saddala are both handling the cinematography, while SB Uddhav is the editor. RR Dhruvan, who is also composing music for the upcoming rom com Roti Kapda Romance, is the music director for the Tantra.
