The makers of Operation Valentine kicked off their film's promotional campaign on Wednesday. On day 2 of the campaign, the film’s primary cast and crew will participate in a special interaction session with the people of Madhavaram, aka Military Madhavaram.

The Operation Valentine team’s visit to Madhavaram holds a special significance; with their interaction with the people there, the makers aim to pay homage to the real-life heroes who serve as an inspiration for the film. A small village located in West Godavari district, Madhavaram has a strong tradition of military participation. At least one person from every family in the village is or has been a part of the military forces.

Operation Valentine is inspired by true events in February 2019 when a team of Indian Air Force officers executed the Balakot airstrike. The film stars Varun Tej and Manushi Chillar in lead roles, and it also features Mir Sarwar, Navdeep, and Shataf Figar in supporting roles. Mickey J Meyer composed the music for the film.

Directed by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, and co-produced by Sony Pictures and Sandeep Mudda, Operation Valentine is slated to hit theatres on March 01 this year. It is a bilingual film, releasing in Hindi and Telugu.
