Nikhil Siddhartha and his wife, Dr Pallavi Varma, became parents to a baby boy on Wednesday. The Karthikeya 2 actor, Nikhil confirmed the news by sharing a picture of him with the newborn.

The official statement from the actor’s team also confirmed that both the mother and baby are doing fine. In November 2023, Nikhil officially announced the news of his wife's pregnancy on his social media page. The actor also shared a few pictures from Pallavi’s baby shower ceremony, captioning the post, “Seemantham.. Traditional Indian form of BabyShower.. Pallavi & Me r happy to announce that Our first baby is expected very soon. Please send in your blessings (sic).”

Nikhil and Pallavi tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in Hyderabad in May 2020 after dating for nearly 2 years. The couple had a limited guest list for the ceremony because of the pandemic and the resultant impositions.

Nikhil, who was last seen in the 2023 film Spy, has three projects in the pipeline: a pan-India film titled Swayambhu, The India House and Karthikeya 3, the next installment of the Karthikeya franchise that remains one of the biggest hits of his career.
