The official trailer of the upcoming action drama Operation Valentine was unveiled on Tuesday morning. Keeping in mind the film's bilingual release, the trailer of the film was unveiled in Telugu and Hindi by Ram Charan Tej and Salman Khan respectively. Operation Valentine stars Varun Tej and Manushi Chillar in the lead roles, with Navdeep, Ruhani Sharma and Shataf Figar essaying supporting roles. The film is written and directed by  Shakti Pratap Singh Hada. It is his maiden feature directorial. 

The film is marketed as a tribute to the Indian Air Force. Operation Valentine's trailer introduces us to Arjun Dev (Varun Tej) a brave IAF officer with PTSD. Manushi Chillar, in her Telugu debut, plays Sonal, a radar officer. After showing glimpses of Arjun's relationship with Sonal, we are also introduced to the film's supporting cast. Then we see the Pulwama attacks happen. The rest of the film deals with how the Air Force executes air strikes on Pakistan. This operation is titled Operation Valentine. The film's story is a lot similar to one Siddharth Anand's Fighter had. Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, released last month on Republic day. 

Operation Valentine is produced by Sony Pictures and Sandeep Mudda. It is co-produced by God Bless Entertainment and Nandkumar Abbineni. Hari K Vedantam is the cinematographer of Operation Valentine, with editing by Navin Nooli and production design by Avinash Kolla. Mickey J Meyer is the film's music composer.

Operation Valentine is scheduled to release on March 1. Other Telugu release coming out on March 1 include Chaari 111, Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana and Razakar - Silent Genocide of Hyderabad.
