We had previously reported that Shashi Odela, Dasara director Srikanth Odela's brother, will be making his acting debut in a film that also stars Dheekshith Shetty. The makers of that film unveiled the film's title on Tuesday. Christened King Jackie Queen (KJQ), the film stars Yukti Thareja as the female lead. Yukti made her debut last year with Rangabali, which starred Naga Shaurya in the lead role.

KJQ is helmed by KK and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas LLP. Sudhakar had also produced Rangabali and Dasara. In addition to KJQ, Dheekshith also has the Rahul Ravindran directorial The Girlfriend, in the pipeline. He will star opposite Rashmika Mandanna in the film.

KJQ's muhurtham pooja was held on Tuesday, with Srikanth Odela gracing the occasion. Poornachandra Tejaswi is the music composer of the film, with cinematography by Nagesh Banell, editing by Karthika Srinivas R and production design by Srikanth Ramisetty.
