Kiran Abbavaram’s Dilruba gets first look; teaser out on this date

Kiran Abbavaram’s Dilruba is directed by Viswa Karun set for a February 2025 release

The makers of Kiran Abbavaram’s upcoming romantic comedy Dilruba unveiled the film’s first look on Sunday. The poster has Kiran Abbavaram in a fiery and intense look. The makers announced that the film’s teaser will be out on January 3, 2025. The film is billed as a romantic comedy and promises to be an entertaining urban comedy. The love story also stars Rukshar Dhillon and Nazia Davison. 

The makers made the announcement and wrote, “Love is the world’s most addictive drug.”

Dilruba, written and directed by debutant Viswa Karun, is bankrolled by Ravi, Jojo Jose, Rakesh Reddy under Saregama in association with Sivam Celluloids. The film has music by Sam CS. 

Kiran Abbavaram was last seen in KA, which has been received well in theatres clocking in more than 50 crores at the box office. Directed by debutant duo Sujeeth-Sandeep, KA is a period thriller set in an 80s village, featuring Abbavaram as Vasudev, a postman. Nayan Sarika co-stars, while Tanvi Raam plays a pivotal role.
