The makers of Dooradarshini unveiled their film’s teaser at a grand ceremony on Thursday. Directed by Karthikeya Kommi, Dooradarshini is billed as a love story, set against the backdrop of the 90s.

The film’s teaser is cut very interestingly, as a collage of three long-takes capturing the journey of its protagonist. While the first visual shows the two lovers courting each other discreetly as they go about their daily routine, the second shot establishes the conflict where the male protagonist is beaten by a few thugs. The final visual of the teaser shows the two lovers reuniting. The film has a tagline, ‘Kalipindi Iddarini,’ which underlines the blossoming of protagonist’s love story through their common love for communion TV-watching sessions in their village.

Dooradarshini, which has been a long time in the making, features Suvixith Bojja and Geethika Ratan in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes actors like Bhadram, Krishna Reddy, Gemini Suresh, Lavanya Reddy, Chalapathi Raju, and G Bhaskar among others. Narayana Avula has penned the storyline as well as lyrics, while Ananda Gurrana has composed the music.

Dooradarshini is produced by  Jaya Shankar Reddy M, and Patimidi Santhosh.
