Ahead of their film’s release, the makers of Bachhala Malli completed their censorship formalities. The upcoming Allari Naresh starrer, which is slated to release on December 20, has received a U/A certificate from the Censor Board.

Bachhala Malli is produced by Razesh Danda and Balaji Gutta under the banner of Hasya Movies. The official teaser for the film was released on Saturday. Directed by Subbu Mangadevvi, the film promises to showcase Naresh in an unconventional avatar, with the Sudigadu actor playing a ruffian figurea, a flawed man with many vices who attempts to redeem himself in life after falling in love. A few days ago, Razesh Danda stated in a press meet, “Bachhala Malli will be for Naresh gaaru what Rangasthalam was for Ram Charan. After watching the film, you will feel this is Naresh 2.0.”

While Amritha Iyer plays the female lead, the supporting cast includes actors like Rao Ramesh, and Rohini. Vishal Chandrasekhar is the music director for Bachhala Malli. The cinematography and editing are helmed by Richard M Nathan and Chota K Prasad, respectively.

It is to be noted that Bachhala Malli is the only major Telugu theatrical release this week.
