Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda’s WhatsApp account was hacked on Thursday. The producer took to his X page to inform his followers about the same on Thursday night.

Informing about the further hassles he faced to regain access of his account, Shobu wrote, “What’s more terrible is that WhatsApp doesn't let me log back in for 12 hours because it says I entered wrong pin multiple times.  In the mean time the hacker has been duping more people on my contact and getting access to thier contacts and more and more accounts are getting compromised.”

On Friday morning, Shobu Yarlagadda further advised his followers to always enable 2-factor authentication on WhatsApp and never share OTPs even with one of your contacts, admitting he did the same. The Baahubali producer also requested Whatsapp to reduce the blocking out period to a few hours, instead of 12 hours.

Earlier this year, celebrities like Javed Akhtar and Tusshar Kapoor have faced a similar issues, with their X account and Facebook account being hacked, respectively.
