On Thursday, the makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule met Chiranjeevi at his residence and took his blessings for the success of their film. The Allu Arjun starrer released today across India, opening to massive box-office numbers.

A photo from the said meeting has been circulating online where Chiranjeevi can be seen with Pushpa 2 director Sukumar, producers Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni, and Mythri Movie Makers CEO Cherry. It is reported that Chiranjeevi plans to watch the Pushpa sequel later tonight with his family.

While Chiranjeevi has never collaborated with Sukumar on a film project, Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan worked with the Pushpa director on the 2018 film Rangasthalam, which remains one of the most acclaimed works for both of them. Ram Charan and Sukumar are also collaborating on an upcoming project, which too is being producer by Mythri Movie makers.

Meanwhile, Pushpa 2 has already crossed the 100 crore nett figure mark, according to box office tracker Sacnilk.com.
