The whole team of Pushpa 2: The Rule attended a grand prerelease event that was held in Hyderabad on Saturday. On the occasion, the film’s female lead Rashmika Mandanna spoke about her association with director Sukumar over the making of Pushpa: The Rise (2021) and the upcoming sequel.

Addressing the audience, Rashmika stated playfully, “First of all, Sukumar sir is very shy and silent by nature. So during the shoot of Pushpa: The Rise, I didn’t know how to talk to him, how to ask him about my doubts. However, during Pushpa 2 shoot, we got so comfortable that I would just go and chit chat with him even if it was not work related. Even if i didnt have any doubts.”

Further expressing her fondness for the Pushpa filmmaker, Rashmika said, “Sir, just give me one more chance in your next film. We will simply kill it! Thats what I have planned.”

On the occasion, Rashmika also spoke about her working experience with film’s production banner Mythri Movie Makers, noting, “It has become my home ground now. I have done so many films for them, and wish to do many more.” Addressing the producers, Rashmika added, “No matter how much I irritate you, I wish to work with you in many more films.”

Rashmika will be seen reprising her role of Srivalli in the upcoming Allu Arjun starrer crime-drama that’s slated for a massive release on December 5.
