Uruku Patela, is an upcoming youthful entertainer, directed by Vivek Reddy. The film stars Tejus Kancherla and Khushboo Choudary in lead roles. The makers of the film unveiled the trailer for the film. The trailer shows Patela, a carefree youth in a village who has one goal; to get married to an educated girl. After most girls reject him, fortune turns in his favour when Akshara, played by Khushboo Choudary, falls for him. However, the twist in the tale arrives when Akshara turns out to be more than she seems, and the trailer ventures into a horror-thriller zone. 

The makers of Uruku Patela also added a tagline, “Get Urukufied” hinting at the suspense layer of the film, in addition to the entertainment. The film is produced by Kancherla Bala Bhanu under the banner of Lead Edge Pictures.

Uruku Patela has Sunny Kurapati as the cinematographer, Sasank Vupputuri as the editor, Vivek Annamalai as the art designer, and Jithu Master as the dance choreographer. The film is set to release on September 7.
