The makers of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram released a promotional song for their film at a pre-release event held on Saturday. Jakes Bejoy has composed the song, titled ‘Sa Ri Ma Pa.’

Staying true to its title, ‘Sa Ri Ma Pa’ is a fusion number that combines elements of jazz, Indian classical and other musical genres to create a groovy and extremely hummable composition. 

Suman-Anusha have directed the song video for ‘Sa Ri Ma Pa,’ with Anusha also helming the choreography in association with Jaswanth. The video features Nani and Priyanka Mohan, the lead pair of Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, sitting at a night club, with Nani enjoying the band’s performance before he approaches Priyanka for a dance, and the two take over the musical proceedings. Vivian Ambrose is the cinematographer. Popular playback singer Karthik has lent his vocals for this groovy number, while Sanare has penned the lyrics. 

Saripodhaa Sanivaaram marks Jakes Bejoy’s first collaboration with filmmaker Vivek Athreya, who had music by Vivek Sagar for his previous two features, Brochevarevarura and Ante Sundaraniki. 

Produced under the banner of DVV Entertainment, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is slated for a theatrical release on August 29.
