Rao Ramesh is gearing up for his next release as a male lead, Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam which hits screens on August 23. The film’s pre-release event was held on Wednesday, attended by Allu Arjun. On the occasion, Allu Arjun profusely spoke about Rao Ramesh’s acting prowess.

Addressing the audience at the event, the Pushpa actor stated, “He is very dear to me as an artist. I remember watching Vedam, and immediately asking my director about the actor who played the small role of a Naxalite. I have been observing his graph since. From playing a small part there, and growing step by step in his career — it makes me genuinely happy to see him reach this stage.”

Addressing Rao Ramesh a little later, Allu Arjun said, “Our cinema is lucky to have artists like you. I have told you personally as well — If he is not there in the frame, even I wouldn’t perform as well many times. He is an artist who improves other artists’ performances.”

Allu Arjun and Rao Ramesh have acted together in several movies, including Badrinath and Pushpa: The Rise. Rao Ramesh was earlier seen this year in Mahesh Babu starrer Guntur Kaaram and Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi.

Produced by Bujji Rayadu Pentyala and Mohan Karya under the banners of PBR Cinemas and Lokamaatre Cinematics, Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam also features Indraja, Ankith Koyya, and Ramya Pasupuleti in significant roles.  Kalyan Nayak is the music composer for the project, while MN Balreddy is the cinematographer. Directed by Lakshman Karya, the film releases tomorrow.
