Utsavam, an upcoming drama featuring prominent actors like Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam, Nassar, Rajendra Prasad, Ali, Raghu Babu, Priyadarshi and more, is gearing up for its release on September 13. The Telugu theatrical rights for the film are acquired by Mythri Movie Makers, while the Karnataka rights are held by Hombale Films. The noted banner announced the news, saying, "The honest attempt of Utsavam deserves a large canvas for people to experience."

Written and directed by Arjun Sai, Utsavam has Dilip Prakash and Regina Cassandra playing lead roles. The film’s technical crew includes Ramana Gopisetti as dialogue writer, Rasool Ellore as cinematographer, and Kotagiri Venkateshwar Rao as editor. The music is composed by Anup Rubens. 

Produced by Suresh Patil under the banner of Hornbill Productions, the film, touted as a drama-musical with intriguing elements, has the noted actors playing theatre artists. The makers unveiled the film’s teaser in January, which depicts the slice-of-life nature of the film. Utsavam is said to be about the revival of theatre play and its importance.
