The makers of Kannappa release Devaraj’s character poster

The Veerappan Actor is playing the role of Clan Chief Mundadu in the Manchu Vishnu starrer

Kannappa, the upcoming mythological epic, stars Manchu Vishnu in the titular role of the Shiva devotee. The film features a mammoth star cast including Mohanlal, Prabhas, Mohan Babu, Akshay Kumar, Sarath Kumar, Kajal Agarwal and more. The extended cast also includes Veerappan famed Devaraj, who plays the role of a clan chief, Mundadu. The son of Mundadu is played by Lavi Pajni. 

The official poster released by the production banner, 24 Frames Factory, gives an introduction to the character. It says that Mundadu grew up in Nilapala Hills, consumes fresh water from Nandivinti Pond, and aspires to be the leader of all clans. With each character reveal poster, Kannappa makers are ensuring to reveal the vast world they are building and the players occupying it. 

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa has cinematography by Seldon Chau, editing by Anthony Gonsalvez, and music by Stephen Devassy. The stunts and epic war sequences are choreographed by Kecha Khamphakdee. The film’s teaser premiered at the Cannes Film Festival this year and the team plans to release the film in all major pan-Indian languages of Telugu, Hindi, English, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
