Nani's Jersey to re-release in theatres

The Nani-Shraddha Srinath starrer relationship drama, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, won two National Awards that year

Nani starrer Jersey completesfive years of its release this week. The relationship drama which also starred Shraddha Srinath in the lead, released in April 2019. On the occasion of five years of its release, the makers have decided to re-release the film on April 20.

Jersey was produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments. The banner took to their X page to make the re-release announcement, posting “On the occasion of Jersey 5th Year Anniversary. Witness the heart-warming Entertainer once Again on the BIG screens this April 20th, 2024.”

Jersey was directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The film besides being a box office success, also won two National Awards that year – Best Feature Film and Best Editing. Jersey was remade in Hindi three years later, with Shahid Kapoor reprising Nani’s role.
