Connect movies launched their first film production on Friday with a muhurtham pooja ceremony. The film will star Raj Tarunn and Rashi Singh in the lead roles. Ramesh Kadumula is the writer-director for the film.

The pooja ceremony was attended by major industry figures like Maruthi, Sreenivasa Kumar, Dheeraj Mogilineni and Trinadharao Nakkina. The makers also unveiled their first poster today. The film, untitled as yet, looks to be a thriller drama.

Aditya Javvadi is the cinematographer while Pravin Pudi is the editor. Shekhar Chandra, meanwhile, has been signed as a music director. Murallidhhar Reddy and Kitn Srinivas are the producers for the film.

Raj Tarunn was last seen in the Nagarjuna starrer Naa Saami Ranga, which released on the occasion of Sankranthi. Meanwhile, Rashi recently appeared in the mystery drama Bhoothaddam Bhaskar Narayana.
