Naresh Agastya starrer detective series Vikkatakavi announced

The thriller show, slated to premiere on Zee 5, is touted to be the first ‘Telangana-based detective series'

Naresh Agastya, who was recently seen in the film Kismat, is playing a detective in an upcoming web series titled Vikkatakavi. The makers of the show made an official announcement about their project on the occasion of Ugadi, also launching their first poster. Vikkatakavi will stream on the platform Zee5.

Vikkatakavi is touted by the makers to be the ‘first Telangana-based detective series’. Taking to their social media page, Zee5 posted, “Step into the intriguing world of Vikkatakavi, the first Telangana-based detective series!  Join Detective Ramakrishna as he unravels the secrets of the cursed village of "Amaragiri" in the Nallamalla forest.”

Megha Akaash is playing the female lead opposite Naresh in the series. Prakash Maddali is the director for the show, and Teja Desharaj has written the script. Shoeb Siddiqui is the cinematography, while the editing is by Sai Babu Talari. Ram Talluri is producing the show under the banner of SRT Entertainments.

The makers of Vikkatakavi are yet to announce the premiere date for the series.
