The makers of Pushpa 2: The Rule unveiled their official teaser, on the occasion of Allu Arjun’s birthday. Pushpa 2, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahaadh Faasil in prominent roles.

The teaser begins with stylish build-up shots of its titular protagonist (Allu Arjun), before gradually revealing Pushpa in a demi-god-like avatar, where he can be seen donning a saree and heavy face paint. The demi-god look is replete with the visual of Pushpa dramatically playing a conch shell. The teaser ends with the visuals of Pushpa bashing a few thugs and posing with great swag.

Sukumar, who had also directed Pushpa: The Rise (2021) is the writer-director for the sequel as well. Devi Sri Prasad too returns as the music director, after composing a superhit soundtrack for the 2021 film. The film has cinematography by Miroslaw Kuba Brozek and editing by Karthika Srinivas and Ruben.

Jointly Produced by Y Ravi Shankar and Naveen Yerneni under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, Pushpa 2: The Rule is set for a theatrical release on August 15.
