Extra, also titled Extra - An Ordinary Man, is all set to hit theatres on December 8. The film stars Nithin and Sreeleela in the lead roles. The film is written by screenwriter turned filmmaker Vakkantham Vamsi.

Extra is Vamsi's second directorial after the 2018 film Naa Peru Surya, Naa Illu India, which starred Allu Arjun in the lead role. Extra is currently in production. The film is touted to be an out and out entertainer backed by a strong character driven story. Nithin will be playing a role he has not played before. While the teaser of the film has not been unveiled yet, the film's makers have recently released their first single Danger Pilla. Harris Jayaraj is the music director of the film. 

Extra is produced by Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy under the banner Shreshth Movies Banner, in collaboration with Aditya Movies and Entertainments. Arthur A Wilson, H Yuvaraaj and Sai Sriram are the cinematographers of the film, with editing by Prawin Pudi and art direction by Sahi Suresh. More details about the film will be announced soon.
