Kumari Srimathi gets a release date 

The Prime Original series will be streaming from September 28

The makers of Kumari Srimathi, an upcoming Telugu language Prime Original series announced on Monday that their show will be streaming from September 28 onwards. The series will also be releasing in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

Actor and filmmaker Srinivas Avasarala, who has helmed Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi earlier this year has worked in the series as a script supervisor as well as the Chief Associate Director. Srinivas has also written the Telugu dialogues of Brahmastra and Avatar: The Way Of Water. Nithya Menen plays the eponymous role of an aspiring small-town entrepreneur. 

Kumari Srimathi marks the maiden OTT venture of producers Swapna and Priyanka Dutt, who are backing the series’ under Early Monsoon Tales, a banner dedicated to web content. Early Monsoon Tales is the sister company of Swapna Cinema. Swapna and Priyanka Dutt have recently produced the film Anni Manchi Sakunamule, directed by Nandini Reddy.

Uday Kaushik and Jayanth served as the co-writers of the series, with Gomtesh Upadhyaye directing it. Staccato and Kamran are the music directors of the show. The technical team of Kumari Srimathi comprises of cinematography by Mohan Krishna and editing by Srujana Adusumilli.
