Bhola Shankar gets OTT release date

The film is helmed by Meher Ramesh

The latest Chiranjeevi outing at the theatres, Bhola Shankar is all set to premiere on Netflix on September 15. Directed by Meher Ramesh, the film is a remake of the 2015 Tamil film Vedhalam, which starred Ajith in the lead role. 

Meher Ramesh has previously directed Billa, Shakti, Kantri and the Kannada language feature, Veera Kannadiga. Bhola Shankar opened to negative reception at the box office. 

The adaptation also stars Keerthy Suresh, Sushanth and Tamannah in crucial roles, with Venu Yeldandi, Hyper Aadi, Sreemukhi, Tarun Arora, Murali Sharma, Bithiri Sathi, Ravi Shankar, Raghu Babu, Get Up Srinu, Rashmi Gautam, Vennela Kishore, Thulasi and Uttej forming the extended supporting cast of the film. 

Bhola Shankar is produced by Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments. Mahati Swara Sagar has composed the music for the film, with cinematography by Dudley, editing by Marthand K Venkatesh and production design by AS Prakash.
