Sreenu Vaitla announces his next film

Gopichand will be headlining the project

Veteran director Sreenu Vaitla, who is known for his action-comedy films like Venky, Dhee, Dubai Seenu, Ready and King, will be working next with Gopichand. The film, tentatively titled Gopichand 32, is also Sreenu’s comeback of sorts.

The director’s last film Amar Akbar Anthony, starring Ravi Teja, released back in 2018. This will be the first time Sreenu will be collaborating with Gopichand. The film, billed as a high voltage action entertainer will showcase Gopichand in a totally new manner. The announcement of Gopichand 32 was made on Saturday, with a muhurtham pooja. Gopichand 32 is also the maiden project of the Chitralayam Studios banner, run by Venu Donepudi. 

According to a statement released by the film’s makers, Gopichand 32 will be a high budget film that will be shot in a lot of overseas locations. The Muhurtham pooja of the film had many an industry dignitary in attendance. Producer Naveen Yerneni, who runs Mythri Movie Makers switched on the camera for the ceremony, while K Ragavendra Rao sounded the clapboard. The ceremonial first shot was directed by Srinu Vaitla himself. The film’s shoot will commence this month. 

Veteran writer Gopi Mohan has penned the film’s screenplay, with cinematography by KV Guhan and music by Chaitan Bharadwaj. More details about the film will be announced soon.
