Tiger Nageswara Rao, the upcoming film starring actor Ravi Teja in the lead role, scheduled to release on Friday, has been censored U/A by the Censor Board.

The upcoming film is a period actioner based on real-life events, starring Ravi Teja as the infamous titular thief.

Tiger Nageswara Rao is Ravi Teja's third film of the year, after Waltair Veerayya and Ravanasura. Gayatri Bhardwaj and Nupur Sanon star as the film's female leads, while Murali Sharma, Sudev Nair, Renu Desai, Hareesh Peradi and Nasser essay supporting roles in the film. Tiger Nageswara Rao is directed by Vamsee, with a script penned by Srikanth Vissa.

Tiger Nageswara Rao is produced by Abhishek Aggarwal under the banner Abhishek Aggarwal Arts. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the film's music. R Madhie is the cinematographer of the film, with production design by Avinash Kolla.
