The makers of Gangs Of Godavari took to social media on Tuesday to announce that their film will be hitting theatres on December 8. The announcement reads, "Get ready to meet Mass Ka Dass, Vishwak Sen, as the massiest Lankala Ratna in Gangs of Godavari on 8th December, 2023."

Gangs Of Godavari (GoG) is Vishwak Sen's 11th film. Neha Sshetty is the film's female lead, and GoG will be her third release of the year after Bedurulanka 2012 and Rules Ranjann. Anjali also stars in the film in a prominent role. Nasser and Goparaju Ramana play supporting roles. 

GoG is written and directed by lyricist turned-filmmaker Krishna Chaitanya. He has previously directed the films Rowdy Fellow and Chal Mohan Ranga. GoG is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banner Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

The film is presented by Srikara Studios and co-produced by Venkat Uppaturi and Gopi Chand Innamuri.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer of the film, while Sithara Entertainments' frequent collaborator Navin Nooli is its editor.
