Previously, we reported that Vishwak Sen's Gangs of Godavari will hit theatres on December 8. On Monday, the makers announced that the film's release has been postponed to March 8, 2024.
Gangs of Godavari is Vishwak Sen's 11th film. Neha Sshetty is the film's female lead, and Gangs of Godavari will be her third release of the year after Bedurulanka 2012 and Rules Ranjann. Anjali also stars in the film in a prominent role. Nasser and Goparaju Ramana play supporting roles.
Gangs of Godavari is written and directed by lyricist turned filmmaker Krishna Chaitanya. He has previously directed the films Rowdy Fellow and Chal Mohan Ranga. Gangs of Godavari is produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banner Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
The film is presented by Srikara Studios and co-produced by Venkat Uppaturi and Gopi Chand Innamuri.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music composer of the film, while Sithara Entertainments' frequent collaborator Navin Nooli is its editor.
