The trailer of Dhootha, the upcoming Telugu web series starring actor Naga Chaitanya in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Thursday. The series is set to premiere on Prime Video on December 1.

The trailer shows Chaitanya playing the role of journalist Sagar. There is a mysterious force lurking around, predictions bringing tragedies, a crime suspect, and sleuths racing against time to avoid the worst, with Dhootha series also having an element of emotions and unraveling of mysteries.

Marking Naga Chaitanya's OTT debut, Dhootha is helmed by Vikram K Kumar. A supernatural thriller series, it is backed by Sharrath Marar of NorthStar Entertainment. Besides Chaitanya, the series also stars Prachi Desai, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Priya Bhavani Shankar, among others.

 “Journalist Sagar's life turns thrilling as he unravels dark secrets behind newspapers predicting tragedies. He becomes a murder suspect, racing against time to clear his name and solve the enigma, facing dangerous twists. Suspense builds in this roller-coaster ride,” reads the synopsis of the series.

The technical crew of Dhootha includes music composer Ishaan Chhabra, DOP Mikolaj Sygula and editor Navin Nooli.
